Winemaker

I founded Camp Rose Cellars to stay connected to the wine industry while raising three kids in Healdsburg. I work on my own time and on my own dime. My wines are available online and at select establishments throughout the north bay.

Merlotjolais

A lighthearted attempt to make Beaujolais Nouveau in California. Luscious whole-cluster organic Merlot was hand harvested and loaded into a stainless steel drum for a two week carbonic maceration. Clusters were then foot-tread and pressed in a hand crank basket press. Fermented in neutral oak and bottled with youthful exuberance in 2022.

13.9% ABV. Chillable. Drink with friends.

Ethos

I feature artwork by female artists on all my wine labels. This little number was drawn by another badass female winemaker (and dear friend) Alice Sutro of SUTRO Wine Co. She artfully drew my two boys as stone gargoyles in a play on the traditional French Beaujolais wine label.

Community

I donate 5% of my sales to community causes, whether or not I make a profit. Corazon Healdsburg is a mission-driven human-rights organization dedicated to building a compassionate and just community in Healdsburg and beyond. They work to empower and dignify individuals and families, advocate against injustices, and unite people to celebrate diversity.
