I am a white girl from a Brown island.
I was raised on Guam, home of the Chamoru people and the most beautiful place on earth. I have traveled the world and Guam is by far the most diverse place I have ever been. Early and immersive exposure to racial and socioeconomic diversity has shaped every aspect of my life.
Every discipline on earth benefits from a diversity of voices.
I support decolonization of the Pacific, and the dissolution of power structures that rob indigenous people of their sovereignty.
I also support decolonization of the wine industry. There is a clear path to progress for both of these issues: more women and people of color in positions of power.

Petition to oppose the militarization of native lands. The US military wants to put a firing range on this beach. For reals.
